SOUTH BEND - Services for Frank L. Scheu, 86, of Dale Avenue, who died at 12:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m.

Mr. Scheu retired from Joy Manufacturing Co., Michigan City, and had also worked at Studebaker Corp. and St. Matthew School. He was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Austria and came here in 1910.

On Sept. 27, 1952, in South Bend, he married Anne (Wukovits) Orban. She survives with a son, Frank L. of Osceola; a stepdaughter, Marie Hadley of Granger; a stepson, Joseph Orban of Granger; two step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Christine Biesbrouck of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Mary Madar of South Bend. He was a member of the church and DFV German Club and was an Army veteran of World War II.
