Edna L. Ross of Sallisaw, Oklahoma was born September 2, 1931 in Cookson, Oklahoma to Frank and Nellie (Switzer) Robertson and passed away April 5, 2011 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. She loved to sew and garden. She is survived by her husband, William, of the home; three sons, AdrianMcGowan and wife Michelle of Sallisaw, OK, Jeff McGowan of Ft. Smith, AR and Tommy Lee Dodson of Sallisaw, OK; fifteen grandchildren, April Wells, Ricky Staben,Todd, Jessica, Kyle, Adrian Jr., Caleb, Amanda, Alexis, Caden, Canaan, Canyon, Hadlyn, Jeffrey McGowan, and Angelica Guinn. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Donna Jones, Six sisters, Della Holston, Nannie Willis, Modean Fritz, Opal Holmes, Cozzette Pruitt, Leatrice Hammette and two brothers; Rufus Robertson and Dwight Robertson. Graveside Services will be 2pm Friday, April 8, 2011 at Box Cemetery with Reverend Gary Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Box Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Viewing will be Noon to 8pm Wednesday, 8am to 8pm Thursday, 8am to Noon on Friday.
