Fletcher J. (Bunny) Tharpe, age 81 passed away Tuesday April 5, 2011 in Monticello, Florida.
Mr. Tharpe was a native of Jefferson County and was employed as a construction asphalt worker. He loved fishing and was of Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Mr. Tharpe is survived by one daughter Virginia D. Tharpe of Tallahassee; two brothers Annis C. (Charlotte) Tharpe of Monticello and Burtcham (Louvenia) Tharpe of Woodville, Florida; one sister Dona (Edgar) Connell of Wacissa, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fletcher and Sallie Grantham Tharpe; three brothers Ormond Tharpe, William H. Tharpe, and his twin brother Elijah Tharpe.
