Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, E.A., H.C., C.W., and W.J. Meixel, of Norfolk, and Roy Meixel of Newbern, N.C.; six daughters, Mrs. Mae Carter, of Norfolk; Mrs. Elixabeth Pipes, of Key West Fla.; Mrs. Emma Hubbard, Mrs. Margaret Christie, Mrs. Rose M. Blackston and Mrs. Antionette Smith, of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. John Flock, of Norfolk; Mrs. Louise Ropp and Mrs. Elizabeth Webber, of germany.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

Charles Meixel - The body of Mr. Meixel, who died Sunday, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services today at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
