BROWNSVILLE — Services for Estelle Pittman Mathias, 85. will be at 10 am. Tuesday at Brownsville Funeral Home with the Rev Jerry Davis officiating Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Mathias died Sunday morning at Shelby Care Health Center in Memphis after a short illness. She was the widow of Lester Mathias Sr. who died in 1972.

She was a native of Haywood County and was a member of Allen's Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Marie McDaniel of Memphis, Cornelia Cozart of Springfield. Fla., Mary Jo Smith and Martha Overton, both of Brownsville; three sons, Lester Mathias Jr. and Dan Mathias. both of Brownsville, and Macon Mathias of Bells; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Melvin Mathias, Buford Mathias, Terry Wayne Mathias, David Mathias, Johnny Mathias and Mitchell Cook.
