FORT BLACKMORE Va. -- Billy Franklin Peters Sr., 63, entered into rest on Friday (July 16, 1999) at his residence.
Mr. Peters was born in Winchester, Va., on January 4, 1936 a son of the late Wales Flenorie and Delphia LaForce Peters.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons Robert Clinton Peters, Daniel Lee Peters and Billy Franklin Peters Jr.
Surviving are his wife; Joan Peters, Fort Blackmore, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Michael Hagy, Nicklesville, Va., and Suzy and Bobby Enton, Bristol, Tn.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Theresa Peters, Kingsport, Tn. and James amd Phyllis Peters, Gate City, Va.; grandchildren, Aaron, Martin, Ami, Alicia, Amber, Beth and Jamey Peters, Amanda and Ashley Collins, Jessie, Andy and Holly Hagy.
Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. today at Gate City Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with the Rev. Eritt Darnell officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Peters Cemetery in Fort Blackmore, Va.
The family will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m..
Family and friends will be pallbearers.
