Lucille is the second of 9 children born to Peter and Clara (Kopp) Hauer. She married Theodore Joseph 'Lefty' Odenwald on November 11, 1925 at St Mark's Catholic Church in Shakopee (Scott), MN. They had 2 children: Theodore Charles and Michael Francis.

Survived by sons, Ted (Barb) Odenwald of Shakopee, Mike (Judy) Odenwald of Pine City, MN; grandchildren, Rebecca (Bret) Hoffman of Shakopee, Andrea (Irfan Ekinci) Odenwald of Los Angeles, CA, Leesa Young of Mpls, Suzie (Tom) Hayden of Burnsville, Charlie Odenwald of Shakopee, Rachel (Tuncay) Ozdenak of Los Angeles, CA; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Mary Ann) Hauer and Gene (Ginny) Hauer, Bill (Nellie) Hauer; sisters, Lorraine Ries, Evelyn Luce all of Shakopee.
