Mrs. Gladys M. Alexander of Dallas, Georgia, passed away August 25, 2007 at WellStar Paulding Nursing Unit.

Mrs. Alexander was born May 19, 1911 in Paulding County, Georgia, daughter of the late Joseph and Sally Morris. She worked as a Spinner in the Textile Industry and was a member of Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Ella Norton.

In addition to her parents, Joseph and Sally Morris, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Claude U. Alexander, who passed away September 22, 1982; brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM from Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Butler officiating. Special music was rendered by the Zion Singers.

Interment followed in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
