Dustin Lynn Swaim of Fort Worth, 29, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Brooks Cemetery in Paluxy. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Dustin was born June 15, 1981, in Springfield, Missouri, to Charles Lynn Swaim and Rita Carol Edwards Swaim. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the war in Afghanistan. His major career achievement was being selected for White House Communications under President George W. Bush. He was a member of the Paluxy Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Virgil and Bertha Bee Swaim and Loretta Cate.

Survivors: Children, Ella Grace Swaim of Stephenville, Haley Lynn Swaim of Granbury; parents, Charles and Vicki Swaim of Tolar, Rita and Vernon Rudolph of Paluxy; grandparents, D.L. "Buster" and Jean Edwards of Paluxy, Bob Cate of Springfield, Missouri; brothers and sisters, Michele and Mark Butler of Dallas, Randy and Sherry Swaim of Tolar, William Rudolph of Lubbock, Josh and April Cate of Republic, Missouri, Brandy Cate of Tyler.
