William R. Chadwell JR. age 91 of New Tazewell Tn. passed away peacefully at his home on March 31, 2011 with Ann His Wife of 69 years by his side. He was born on November 25, 1919 to Ross and Grace Cook Chadwell. He was a graduate of Claiborne County High School and served in the United States Army Corp. Owned and operated Chadwell Package Store in Tazewell Tn. He was a life long mechanic who loved auto racing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman but his biggest enjoyment was watching his grandchildren play sport. He professed faith in Christ prior to his passing. He was preceded in death by daughters Joy Chadwell and Melba Purkey son Phillip Chadwell, brother Whitt Chadwell, sister Lucille Profitt. He is survived by his wife Ann More Chadwell Son: Bill and Liz Chadwell of Sharp Chapel Tn. Grandchildren Melinda (Mark) Dyke, Bill and Tonya Chadwell and Gary And Billy Daniels and 7 wonderful great grandchildren Jesse, Felicia, Ross, Jason, Peyton, Whitney and Bailey all of New Tazewell. Brother Joe (Edith) Chadwell Tullahoma Tn. and a host of nieces, nephew, other family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday April 3, 2011 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with service to follow at 8 P.M. Sunday Night at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
