Arno was a Texas native and a member of the Modesto Baptist Temple, the Messengers CB Club and the React Club. He managed Teddy Bear laundromats.
Surviving are his widow, Ethel of Modesto; children Byron , Wayne, Jeffrey and Rickey, and Janet. Step-children Ethel, Ed and Bill, his mother, Virdia, sister Mildred and nine grandchildren.
