Rites Set Saturday
Frank Bell, 94, Is Dead;
Ex-Chairman at Hampden

COLUMBUS - Frank E. Bell, 94, a retired town of Hampden farmer and member of a CenturyFarm family, died today in a Columbus hospital.
Ha was a former chairman of the town of Hampden. He was secretary of the old Hampden Mutual Farm Insurance Co., and a past director of the Pure Milk Products Association of the Hampden district.
Mr. Bell was noted for his annual attendance at the Wisconsin State Fair for about 80 years. He served a number of years as president of the Pioneer Fair Goers Club, composed of veteran State Fair visitors.
Many years ago he organized a Hampden area calf club which was a forerunner of 4-H Club work.
Bell was a graduate of Oshkosh Normal School, and later taught in Dodge and Columbia counties.
He was married Oct. 5, 1904, to Jennie Inglis of Hampden township. She died in 1957.
He was a member of Olivet Congregational Church here.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marvel Lee, Columbus, and Mrs. Henry Konkel, Route 1, Rio; eight grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the ZeidlerAlberts funeral home, Columbus, from 4 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday, when the body will be taken to Olivet Congregational
Church. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the church, with the Rev. Earl Remaly officiating. Burial will be in the Hampden cemetery.
