Elvira died from consumption.

Death of Mrs. W. R. Bush

Died, at her home in Hampden, at 5 P.M., Dec. 27, 1903, after an illness of nearly two years Elvira, wife of W. R. Bush.

Elvra Nelson was born in the town of Ostego, Oct. 15, 1857. She was married to W. R. Bush in this city on Nov. 21, 1883, by the Rev. M. G. Todd. She leaves besides a husband five children, the eldest Grace, three boys and Little Lois: a mother, two sisters, Mrs. Flora Bell and Mrs. Myrtle Trapp, and a brother, Frank Nelson, all of Hampden.

All the medical aid and loving hands could do and the tender care of a daughter, were to no avail. A change for the worse was preceptable on Christmas morning, from which time she steadily grew weaker until just after sunset Sunday evening she passed away.

A true friend, a devoted mother and a faithful wife.

The funeral was on Wednesday at 11 A. M. at the Hampden M. E. church, the service being conducted by the Rev. Jno. A. College of Fall River.
