Peggy D. Watson, 76 of Lindsay passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at her home. She was born January 29, 1935 at Graham, Texas to Henry Orville and Ruby Hazel (Wylie) Parsons.

Peggy grew up in Texas, living in Abilene before moving to McAlester, OK. Later she moved to Lindsay where she had been living for 43 years. Peggy had worked as a beauty operator and a care giver for home health care. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, and going places to shop. Peggy was a member of the Church of Christ in Lindsay. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include a son, Greg Watson and his wife, Renee of Lindsay. Daughters: Cindy Jones of Lindsay and Becky Mainka and her husband, Jeff of Bradley. A sister, Hazel Franklin of Breckenridge, Texas. Grandchildren: Eric and Ryan Watson; and Michael and Matthew Gustafson. Great grandchildren: Halee Watson, Carlee Gustafson, Caden Gustafson, Wayde Watson, Jack Gustafson, and Lauren Gustafson. Also father of the children: B.R. Watson

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wylie Parsons; and a sister, Neomi Shinn.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Church of Christ in Lindsay with Rick Popejoy officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
