Walter Harrison Forbis was the son of Felix Grundy and Martha "Mattie" Blanche Zumwalt Forbis.
He married Beulah Barnes in 1914. Their (known) children are

Obituary:
Walter Forbis Dies After Five-Year Illness; Walter H. Forbis, 68, died at 8:30 o'clock last night at his home at 1506 Patey Lane after an illness of five years.He was born in Boone County on June 18, 1894, to Felix Grundy Forbis and Martha Blanche (Zumwalt) Forbis. He was married in 1914 to the former Miss Beulah Barnes and she died in December 16, 1953. On July 1, 1954, he married Mrs. Bertha Willis, who survives.Forbes was in the poultry business and had lived in Boone County his entire lifetime. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.Survivors in addition to his widow, include nine children by his first marriage, Mrs. John F. Kerr of Welds, Kansas, Mrs. Woodrow Baumgartner of 1201 Belmont Street, Mrs. Ben Crump of Auxvasse, Mrs. Francis Noel of 1205 Lakeview Avenue, Mrs. Henry Hartsfield of Ocoee, Florida, Ocie L. Forbis of 1011 North Garth Street, William Forbis of 200 Gibson Street, Donald Forbis of Tucson, Arizona and Ray Forbis of Reids Trailer Court, four sisters, Mrs. Anna Allen of 28 4th Avenue, Mrs. Emily Lewis of Nashville, Tennessee, Mrs. Clara Courtney of Miami, Oklahoma and Mrs. Alpha Forsee of Centralia, one brother, Jesse Forbis, 24 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3:30pm Sunday at Parkers Chapel with Reverend Charles Parker officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetary.The body will be at Parkers until time of service.
