Vicki L. Gruell, age 58, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Greenfield. Born on July 20, 1952, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of James Johnson and Robert and Barbara (Renforth) Swan.
Vicki graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 1970 and married Greg Gruell on October 31st, 1970. She worked as an administrative assistant for Kemper C.P.A. in Greenfield for thirty years.
Surviving her are her husband, Greg K. Gruell of Greenfield; son, Craig (Tracey) Gruell of Greenfield; daughter, Julie L. Donley of Greenfield; mother, Barbara Swan of Greenfield; grandchildren, Brett, Cameron, Heath, and Logan; sisters, Becky Fields and Lori Scott, both of Greenfield; brother, Jamie Johnson of Greenfield; half brother, Jimmie Johnson of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, Robert Swan.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at the mortuary. Pastor Mark Wright will be officiating and burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
