Married Robert Alexander Pope, 8 Jun 1874, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UtahGARDEN CITY — Mrs. Amanda Calder Cope, 98, died of natural causes Sunday evening at the home of a daughter.

Born April 9, 1859, Bountiful, to Robert and
Flora Ann Simmons Calder. Married to Robert A. Cope in 1874, Salt Lake Endowment House, Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He died Sept. 17, 1911.

Residents of Bear Lake area 85 years, and Garden City 80 years. LDS YWMIA, Relief Society president.

Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Alice Langford, Mrs. Edith Whittington, Garden City; 17
grandchildren. 54 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great-grandchildren, two great-great-great- grandchildren; a niece, Gladys, whom
she reared; half brother, four half sisters.

Funeral Wednesday 1 p.m., Garden City LDS Ward chapel. Friends call Tuesday evening, Wednesday prior at residence of Mrs. Whittington. Burial Garden City Cemetery under direction of Matthews Mortuary.
