Jason Langdon was born in Carson City, Nevada on September 20, 1978 and died on August 05, 2006 at the age of 27 in a car accident in Sparks, Nevada.

Jason enjoyed hunting, boating, camping, rebuilding classic cars and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed helping others and always lent a helping hand. Jason could light up a room when he entered it. He had a laugh and smile everyone loved. He had a good heart. Jason knew there were so many unexplored places, he wanted to explore them all, so if he had a chance to go somewhere he had never been he didn't hesitate to go. His trip to Mexico with his friend Kenny was just another place to explore. That ended unfortunately for Kenny he lost his life falling off the building. Jason took this really hard.

Among his survivors are his mother, Evelyn Reed and step-father Allen of Carson City, father and stepmother Stephen and Vicki Langdon, brother Scott Shorter, step-sister Megz Howard and numerous extended-family members.

Also remembered is Kenny Prestella who passed away on April 9, 2006 in Mexico doing charitable work with Jason and many others. Jason went because he was asked and enjoyed travel so going somewhere he has never been was all the more appealing. Jason stayed with Kenny at the hospital until it was time to come home. They had just started working on a project in Mexico when Kenny had a seizure and fell off a roof. Kenny meant a lot to Jason. I rest a little easier knowing Kenny is with Jason. They search out the other wonders we can only imagine.

Jason had more energy for one person than anyone I know. He always had to be somewhere, barely any time to sleep or eat. I think he only did these things because he was too tired to go on or had to eat to sustain himself. I could never keep up with him.
Jason will be forever loved and missed by so many and always close to our hearts. I don't know why he left us I only know life just isn't the same without him.
