Chub was united in marriage with Marvin P. "Bub" Alderson on September 26, 1940 in Belleville, KS. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2003.
She worked at McKain Grain, Honorbuilt, and several grocery stores. Chub was a member of the Delphos United Methodist Church.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her son Arnold Alderson on August 20, 2009; and her siblings Lennis Pounds, Berniece Nelson, and Delma Huffman.
