Jesse W. Hunter, a resident of Greensburg sice 1905, died at the Frye Rest Home at 7:15 o'clock Thursday evening following a lingering illness. He was born in Donegal on July 5, 1862. He was a retired salesman, having been employed at the old Westmoreland Grocery here. Mr. Hunter was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a son of the late William and Eliza Wirsing Hunter. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Spencer M. Free, of Greensburg, and C. Glen Hunter, of Toronto, Canada. Also surviving are a sister and a brother, Mrs. Edward V. Williams, of Irwin, and James W. Hunter, of Wilkinsburg, and two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received starting tonight at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Coshey-Buchanan Funeral Home from where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, in charge of Rev. Ralph W. McKenzie, D.D. Interment will be in the Irwin Union Cemetery.
