Ella L. Avelsgard, age 75, a long time resident of Sebeka, Minn., passed away Sunday, October 3, 1965 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Dahlvang.
Ella was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pratt, born on September 20, 1890 at Boone, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to John Avelsgard on October 21, 1905 at Long Prairie, Minnesota. Ten children were born to this union.
Ella was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a kind and devoted mother; and will be missed by everyone.
Her husband John, three daughters and one son preceded her in death
Survivors include three sons: Leonard of Buhl, Minn., Harold of Sebeka and David of Nimrod; three daughters, Hazel Przybylski, Minneapolis, Minn., Margaret Baker, Gilman, Wisc., and Iva Dahlvang, Verndale, Minn.; twenty three grandchildren; forty six great grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Beduhn, Sand Lake, Mich.; and other distant relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 1965 at the Methodist church in Sebeka, Minn., with Rev. Alex Ramos officiating. Hymns were sung by Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Rupp.
The pallbearers were Richard Dahlvang, Clifford Avelsgard, Arthur Baker, James Dahlvang, Gerald Avelsgard and Thomas Baker. Interment was at the Sebeka Village cemetery, Sebeka, Minn.

Dak.; Mrs. Gladys Kleim, Jamestown, N. Dak., Anna May Macomber, Jamestown, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Thadd Przybylski, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schanbachler, Mrs. John Feeken, Mrs, John Hamre, Mr. and Mrs. James Dahlvang and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dahlvang, all from Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baker of Willmar, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Avelsgard and Frank Avelsgard, Deerwood, Minn., Mrs. Oscar Avelsgard, Brainerd, Minn.
