You married Rosa L. Watson (1890-1974), she lived some 63 years longer than you. She obviously remarried at least two more times.

Your mother was Alzineth Elnora Hodges (1876-1959) and lived some 40 years longer than your father. After your father died, she went to California after your sisters did, where she later died.

You died from a logging accident.

Your stone (illustrated) is about 5' tall and about 2 1/2 ft wide. I was really suprised to see one this big. You must have been in favor of your Mom, and the apple of her eye.

You had a son Reily Harrison Baggett who died in Dallas Co. Texas. He had married Emma Coleman, it's easy to see that Reily's name is similar to your Father's name of George Reily Baggett. Reily Harrison & wife Emma had also gone to California and had their son Vernon with them, where Emma got her Soc. Sec. number but the three of them didn't stay there and came back & stopped in Dallas, Texas where Emma's sister lived. Reily died and is believed Emma had his body cremated. Vernon died and was buried there. Emma later came back to southwest La. alone, died and was buried near the Coleman family she first left north of Longville, La.

It is now known that other daughters of George Reily Baggett had married, and they went with their husbands to northern California where they found timber related jobs and stayed there. Later the girls' mother (Alzenith Elanora Baggett, George Reily's wife) also went to live with them, and never came back to Louisiana.
