Sheila Kelly Abel was born July 11, 1963 at the US Military Academy, West Point, New York, a daughter of Pack P. Kelly and Tykie Hart Kelly. She died in a local hospital at Signal Mountain, Tennessee on May 17, 2003.

Sheila was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was active in Women's Bible Study and served on the Arts and Environment Committee. She was also involved in other Signal Mountain activities including membership on the Thrasher Elementary PTA Board.

Sheila was a graduate of Round Rock High School, Round Rock, TX, and held a B.S. degree in interior design from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a loving wife and mother whose warmth and creative talents touched the lives of many.

Funeral services at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Valleroy officiating, assisted by family friend Rev. Msgr. Frank Mahler of Falls Church, Virginia.
