SAD FUNERAL THURSDAY.
A very sad funeral was held yesterday
afternoon at the home of Mrs.
John Agar on West street, when ser-
vices were conducted over the remains
of her little granddaughter, Grace
Kennedy, 16 months old baby of Mr.
and Mrs. Francis Kennedy of Veteran,
Alberta
Shorty before Christmas Mrs. Ken-
nedy and two little daughters came
from Alberta to Cass City for a visit
and but two days after her arival be-
came seriously ill. Mr. Kennedy was
called and he arrived here on New
Years day. Mrs. Kennedy has been
ill ever since and just the first of this
week was moved from the hospital to
the home of her mother.
Little Grace became ill on Sunday
and her sickness developed into bron-
chial pneumonia. Her death occurred
early Wednesday morning.
She leaves her parents and a little
sister, Leone, four years old, besides
many other relatives.
