Royal Freeman Miller passed away at his home at the age of 72. He was born to Herman Ottis and Lillian Fletcher Parmenter Miller and had lived in Silver Springs for the past six years, coming from Reno, where he had lived for 20 years. He was retired from the Fundis Trucking Co, retiring about five years ago. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Veterans of Foreign Wars 8605 in Sparks, NV, American Legion and Kooties. He is survived by his sons, Robert and Hal Miller, stepson, Dennis Miller and daughter, Kandy Miller Smith, all of Sacramento; son, Ray Miller of Hesperia, CA; companion, Marie Dover of Silver Springs and eight grandchildren.
