Many years ago Aunt Rosa Caddell Mitchell Young (daughter of Wesley Jackson Caddell) told us about when she was a child, her grandfather, James Tilford Caddell took her and other family members by wagon to Henly, Hays County, Texas to visit the graves of his mother (Mary) and his wife Sarah. This is how we knew where they were buried.
On December 8, 1974 we visited with Lauren McCarty 89 years old, Henley, Texas. Mr. McCarty told us where to find the cemetery. We took pictures of the Caddell graves at that time. At this time the pictures are misplaced or lost. We did send copies to Billie Bryant, current address unknown.
