He was born February 18, 1920 in Midland County. He married the former Betty Draves October 5, 1940 in Ohio; she survives him. Mr. Dice served with the US Army and was employed as a pipe fitter with various construction companies for many years, retiring in 1964.
Surviving besides his wife, Betty are his children and their spouses, Gerald (Beverly) Dice of Jackson, Duane (Winifred) Dice of Pensacola, FL, Patsy (Doug) Blake, Marlene (Fred) Overly and Wanda (Leon) Schneider all of Midland. Carol (Charles) Overly and Wilma (James) Hoffman of Rhodes; 29 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl (Juanita) Dice of Sanford and Elmer (Francis) Dice of Bay City, two sisters Emma (Charles) Wonsitler and Edna Mae (Tiny) Sly all of Midland. Mr. Dice was predeceased by three brothers, David, John and Frank Dice and by three sisters, Dorothy Aikens, Sarah Margaret Jardis and Iva Satterille.
