William Henry Warren, Age 68, Heart Victim; Funeral slated Friday William Henry Warren, 68, Prestonsburg, was dead on arrival Tuesday at the Prestonsburg General Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mr. Warren was twice married. His first wife, Daisy Bird (Byrd) Warren, died in 1936. His second wife, Mabel Stratton Warren, survives. Surviving sons and daughters are Elmer Warren, Oak Park, Illinois, Jack Warren, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Henry Leedy (Cloeva Warren Leedy), Prestonsburg, Mrs. Virginia Boggs, Cincinnati, Mrs. Bronwin Portman, Maywood, Illinois, Miss Carol Ann Warren, Goody, Kentucky. Surviving brothers and sisters are Harve Warren, Mrs. Maggie Messer, Mrs. Ollie Fuson, all of Pineville, Nathan Warren, Cincinnati, Sam Warren, Greenville, South Caroline, Nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 pm at the Floyd Funeral Home chapel, the Revs. John W. Conley and W.D. Jaggers officiating. Burial will be made in the Davidson Memorial Gardens under the directions of Floyd Funeral Home.
