HASTINGS - Newton Jerome, passed away Sunday, at his residence, 316 Culver. Survived by five sons, C.J., R.C., C.O., all of Dallas, W.E. Crandall, Texas,and A.W. Mesquite; two daughters, Mrs. H.E. Harris, Mrs. Charles Hailey both of Dallas, several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services Tuesday, 2 p.m. Owenwood Methodist Church, Rev. Bill Morgan Smith. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers Dewey Harris, Clay Harris, Billy Joe Hastings, L. B. Rowden, Frank Petty, Clarence Matthews. Arrangements Ed C. Smith & Bro. Mortuary, Ltd, Ross and St. Paul.
