Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Emily Burchett, 95, who died Saturday in her home, 1803 Ninth Ave., Delano, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Delano Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Arthur Schuck, First Methodist Church, will officiate, and interment will follow in Delano-McFarland District Cemetery.
Mrs. Burchett was born April 22, 1867, in Bolivar, Mo., and came to California in 1900. She had lived in Delano since 1915.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Faye Shifflet and Mrs. Margaret Clasen of Delano; four sons, Walter E. Burchett of Santa Cruz, Orin L. Burchett of Lost Hills, James H. Burchett of Torrance and Scott E. Burchett of Bakersfield; one sister, Mrs. Ella Callaway of Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
