BALL, Cheri Born January 24th, 1957 in Odessa, Texas. Passed away at home in Lincoln, February 24th, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Cassie (Roberto Briceno) & Jonathan Ball. Dear companion of Chris Leeson. Loving sister of Cathy (Scotty) Freitas, Cindy (Charles) Hemphill. Nieces Jessica Freitas and Charla (Noel) Jalamo. Nephews Michael Freitas, Chris (Linda) Schmidt, Cary (Ginger) Schmidt, and Bubba (Misty) Hemphill. Preceded in death by her parents Hershell and Marilyn Self. She had an incredible love for her friends and a special place in her heart for her cousins. Cheri was an accomplished chef, wine connoisseur, and gardener who loved to play golf and walk on the beach. Everyone and everything she touched flourished in life. With an unbelievable sense of humor and wit, she will be sorely missed by all. Goodbye "little one", we will love you forever. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, March 10th, 2007 at 3:30pm in the Sunrise Golf Course Club House, 6412 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA. Honor Cheri by wearing pink. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
