He was born Oct. 11, 1924, in Omaha, Neb, the son of Augustus and Esther Evel Lime.
Mr. Lime had been a resident of the Ashland area most of his life. He retired from Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. in 1979. He was member of First Christian Church, where he served as past chairman of the church board.
He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, Ohio Region, Canton Chapter. He was a past member of the Ashland Evening Lions. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, having served with the Fourth Armored Infantry.
Surviving are his wife, Joan; one son, Jack Lime Jr. of Ashland; two daughters, Suzanne Overbey of Holyrood, Kan. and Roxanne Weldy of Morganton, N.C.; one stepson, Steven Hughes of Westlake; one stepdaughter, Christine Keetle of Northville, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one greatgranchild; two sisters, Dorothy King of Colorado and Maxine Branneman of Palm Springs, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen; and one son, Terry.
Private family services will be held in Heyl Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Rinehart officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park.
There will be no calling hours.
