Henrietta was a graduate of West High School the class of 1942. She married Willard C. Marten on June 28, 1944 in St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Cross Plains. Together they farmed in the Town of Berry until moving to the Village of Cross Plains in October of 1980. Henrietta was employed by the State of Wisconsin-Department of Revenue for 25 years. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church.
Henrietta is survived by her husband Willard; children, Beverly (Roger) Clason of Sauk City, Carol Jean Kirk of Madison, Elaine (Gary) Meister of Black Earth, Bonnie (Harold) Haag of Reedsburg, LaVerne (Sharon) Marten of Loganville; 8 grandchildren, Sherri (Dean) Ruhland, Wendy (Rob) Kuster, Amanda Haag, Duane Kirk, Justin and Joshua (Madeline)Marten, Shaun (Megan) and Jamie (Kate Welter) Haag; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister- in-law Donna Juris of Sun Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Juris, and a great grandson Nicholas Eng.
