Edith was preceded in death by Kenneth Templar on November 2, 1970. She later married Allen Abraham on February 9, 1975 in Salem, Oregon and moved to his farm home near Albany, Oregon. Edith loved and served her Lord as a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. She participated in many church activities as a member of Saint Mark Lutheran Church in Salem, Oregon. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, bowling, golfing, traveling and raising a family of two children. Upon her husband's retiremet the returned to Salem in 1984. Edith was later admitted to Marion Estates nursng home in 1996 where she succumbed to Alzheimer's.
Her father and mother, five sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Allen; son, Steven and Janet Templar of Keizer; daughter, Sheila and Stephen Bach of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Dolly Schilling and Kathy Coleman of Aberdeen, S.D.; brothers, Arthur Wiedmann of Watertown, S.D. and Walter Wiedmann of Sturgis, S.D.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Mon., December 5, 2005 at Faith Lutheran Church in Keizer, Oregon. Family graveside services will follow at Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Oregon. Arrangements are by Keizer Funeral Chapel."
