Loris - Services for Reuben Asbury "Buck" Ford will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lake Swamp Baptist Church, with burial in Lake Swamp Cemetery.
Mr. Ford, 70, died Friday.
Born in Horry County, he was a son of the late Daniel Roy and Mary Eunice Jackson Ford. He was a cabinet maker and member of the Lake Swamp Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Grainger Ford; sons, Wayne and Dan Ford of Loris; daughters, Mrs. Muriel Cook of Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs. Ann Carpia of Summerville; brothers Luther and Edgar Ford of Cerro Gordo, N.C., Zarvis T. Ford of Florence, Boyd Ford of Aynor, Roy Ford of Portsmouth, Va., and Bennett Ford of Nichols; sisters Mrs. Bernice Nunnery of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Sarah Connelly of Nichols; and 8 grandchildren.
Hardwick Funeral Home is in charge.
