Laura Ann Lamb, 82, Waterford Circle, Goshen, died at 8:12 a.m. Wed. April 13, 2011 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born Jan .9, 1929 in Goshen to Josephine (Banta) & Charles McDonough. On June 16, 1950 she married Richard L. Lamb and he survives.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Carrie (Lloyd) Brubaker, Goshen, Cathy (Steve) Brandenberger, Middlebury, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Laura was an elementary teacher at West Goshen Elementary and a children's librarian at the Goshen Public Library. She graduated from Goshen High School, Goshen College, receiving her Masters from Indiana University and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Fri. April 15, 2011 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Sat. April 16, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 202 S. Greene Road, Goshen, with Pastor John Hickey officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
