Lakewood, Calif. -- Bertha Millard Hagen, 81, a former Port Huron resident, died Friday Aug. 31, 1984 in California.
She was born Aug. 16, 1903, in Port Huron. Her first husband, Harold P. Millard, died July 8, 1948. She married Lawrence Hagen Aug. 13, 1965, in California.
Mrs. Hagen was active for many years in Post 796, VWF Auxiliary; Post 8, American Legion; and Blue Start Mothers, all of Port Huron. She was a former parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Port Huron.
Mrs. Hagen is survived by her husband; one son, Carroll H. Hillard, Camarillo, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs Thomas (Joan) Langdon, Lakeside, Calif., and Janet R. Torrey, Port Huron; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Cremation will take place in California.
