He was born Dec. 10, 1945, in Grandfield, Okla., to Edward Wilder and Renn (Crow) Clark. He moved to Longview in 1947 and graduated from Mark Morris High School.
Mr. Clark worked for Reynolds Metal in Longview for 32 years. He liked to take country drives, gardening and growing roses. He was an outdoorsman and an avid hunter and fisherman his entire life.
He is survived by three sons, Richard Clark of Longview, Shane Clark of Clatskanie and Clint Clark of Rainier; a sister, Darlene Casey of Orville, Calif.,; two brothers, Raymond Clark and Craig Clark, both of Longview; and three grandchildren, Shianne, Makayla and Austin Clark.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Clark, June 28, 2002.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Murray Hill Cemetery Columbarium, Hall Road, in Clatskanie with Pastor Ron Jacobson officiating.
