ROBERT MILLER BEST of Merritt Island, FL. Raised in Marblehead, MA, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, then entered the U.S. Army serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam retiring as a disabled veteran in 1968. He worked at Kennedy Space Center during the Apollo era, received a BS at Rollins College and received his MBA from Stetson. He accepted a position with Brevard County and worked as Chief Internal Auditor until 1989. He was a long time member of DAV Chapter 123. Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara of Merritt Island; 2 children; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are private.
