Clarence was baptized on July 13, 1930 and confirmed on April 2, 1944 at St. John's Luteran Church. He attended St. John's Parochial School and graduated from Ventura High Schoolin 1948.
Clarence joined th U.S. Air Force (1950-1953), serving his country in Korea during the conflict. While in the Air Force, Clarence met and married Phyllis Warriner. Upon dischrge from service they returned to farm along side family Northeast of Ventura. Here they celebrated the births of their two children, Gary and Cindy.
Clarence retired in 1997 from North Central Supply in Rapid City, South Dakota, at that time they moved to Mesa, Arizona. Clarence was surrounded by family and friends as he grieved Phyllis' death in June 2002.
He is survived by his two children Gary and Cindy and their families. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers Harold and Roland.
