Mrs. George Hunter died at her home near Stanton last Wednesday at 7 o'clock. Her death was caused from a fibrous tumor from which she had been ailing for the past 15 years. She had been confined to her bed for the last five months. Although not a member of any church, she was a conscientious Christian and loved by all who knew her. A few hours beef she died she asked for her trinkets and divided them systematically among the members of the family. She felt that the "Angel of Death" had bid her come, and with a loving goodbye to each one of them, she passed to her reward where suffering is no more. Funeral services were held at the house Thursday, conducted by Rev. Martin of Stanton. The remains were taken to the Arlington Cemetery for burial. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
