Susan L. Neighbors of Carson City, NV died peacefully on April 9, 2011 at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno after five years with ovarian cancer. She went to Sierra High in Whittier, Calif., and to junior college. She traveled Europe while working for an airline and moved to Reno. After moving to Santa Cruz, Calif., she lived on a boat for five years with her husband Gary. They bought an ocean view home in Aptos, Calif., and later moved back to Nevada to Carson Valley's Sunridge Golf Course.
She is survived by her husband Gary Neighbors and three nieces, all of southern California. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Susan loved traveling, concerts, dogs, cruising to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico. She is loved and missed by everyone. Susan touched many hearts and souls.
