Mrs. Vera L. Warner, 93, Good Hope, died at 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at the Avon Nursing Home, Avon.
She was born July 14, 1911, in McDonough County, the daughter of Charles W. and Pearl M. (Payne) Bennett. She married Lyle W. Warner June 26, 1929, in Colchester. He preceded her in death April 23, 1984.
She is survived by two daughters, Hazel I. Baker, Good Hope, and Bonnie J. (Eldon) Cadwalader, Bushnell; one son, Terry L. (Marjorie) Warner, Galesburg; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Rita Warner, Mt. Home, Ark.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Max D. Warner; five brothers; and one sister.
She was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church and the Good Hope Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2004 at the Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home, Macomb, with the Rev Betty Coffey and Rev. Althea Alton officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be at the Good Hope Cemetery, Good Hope.
