Dante' LaMar Adams, 20, of McKeesport, departed this life Monday, April 11, 2011, in UPMC McKeesport. He was born June 2, 1990, in Magee Women?s Hospital, Pittsburgh, and was the son of Jeffrey Lann and Shawntaye Adams, both of McKeesport. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Surviving are his parents; a sister, Raven Thaxton; and grandparents Wendy and Sam Thomas Jr., all of McKeesport; grandfather Wayne Crutchfield of Hawaii; great-grandmother Mary Frances Strover and great-grandfather Samuel Thomas Sr., both of McKeesport; great-great-grandparents Sam and Ernestine Cooper of Atlanta, Ga.; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Lann. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the New Beginnings Church, 705 Shaw Ave., McKeesport, Pa., where services will be Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Elder Albert Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home Inc., 2326 Jenny Lind St., McKeesport, Pa., 15132.
