Lucy "Jane" (Sims) (Hodo) Conatser was born in 1858 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Marion Sims (1833–1915) and Elizabeth Ann (Baggett) Sims (1836–1916).
She was married 1st in 1889 to James M Hodo (1826–1897), and she was married 2nd as the 2nd wife of Francis C "France" Conatser (1850–1931), and he was the son of Morgan Conatser (1815–1902) and Mary (Conatser) Conatser (1821– ).
Still in Montgomery County, Jane was about 78 years old when she died June 17, 1936 and was buried in McWhorter Cemetery, Cunningham.
