Mrs. Carrie Hulsey, 63 years of age died at her home No. 27 R. street, Brogon mill last night following illness which concluded five years of poor health. The funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending the arrival of relatives here from other cities. Surviving the deceased are three sons, E. Z. Hulsey and J. B. Hulsey who resides in Georgia and R. L. Hulsey (my grandfather) Salisbury, N.C., three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Pierce Anderson, Mrs. Lulla [Julia] Herring, Clemson College, and Mrs. Bessie [Bethie] Wilson of George; one brother, John Compton, Monroe, Ga. and two sisters, Mrs. Eetta Pierce, of Atlanta and Mrs. Clem Brewster, of Iva. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C. C. Hawkins, at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home on R. street and interment made at Silver Brook cemetery. G. F.Tolly & Son, funeral directors, in charge.
