Mary Frances Hall Short, 36, and her husband, Michael Wayne Short, 50, of Bassett, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at their home.
They were co-owners of M & S Mobile Home Movers.
The double funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Martinsville Church of God with the Rev. Jackie Poe officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
Michael Wayne "Mike" Short was born Feb. 18, 1952, the son of Billie and Annie Arrington Short, both deceased.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Short; three sons, Kenny W. Short and Tim Short, both of Franklin County, and M.J. Short of Roanoke; one brother, Jerry Short of Franklin County; two sisters, Linda Hogan and Carolyn Hodges, both of Franklin County; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Bassett Funeral Service.
