Mrs. Quero Sellers

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the 19th Avenue Baptist Church for Mrs. Quero (Sweetie) Sellers, 85, of 602 Broad Street, who died Friday at Forrest General Hospital. The Rev. Gene Balding will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Sellers, a native of Holmesville, La., had lived in the Hattiesburg area for the past 54 years and was a member of 19th Avenue Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Sellers and three sons, Burton, Baxter and Gravis [sic, s/b Travis] Sellers.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lorene Hegwood of Zachary, La., Mrs. Christine Hartfield of Hattiesburg and Mrs. Nonnie Spiers of Biloxi; five sons, Raymond, Roland, George and Billy Sellers, all of Hattiesburg and Jack Sellers of Scooba; 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; a brother, Marshall Holloway of Chicago, and a number of nieces' and nephews.
