Mrs. Linda Torian Adams, 61, died at 7 o'clock last night at Jennie Stuart Hospital after an illness of several months.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fuqua Funeral Home. Officiating will be her pastor, Rev. Sidney M Maddox of the First Baptist church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Christian County on Sept. 5, 1904, the daughter of William Donaldson & Stanley Windes Torian. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis J Adams, Hopkinsville businessman and former chairman of the Municipal Housing Commission. Also surviving is an uncle, Enoch Windes of the county.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis (Bill) Adams, Jr., who was killed in a plane crash in 1952 while serving in the Air Force.
