Edmee Mendoza was married first to Charles Edward Kelley on the 28 August 1903 then married 2nd to Thomas Franklin Pearce on 15 May 1924,

The following is from her funeral card:
Died at 8 p.m. Monday at Terrebonne General Hospital. She was 78 years old, a resident of 1405 First St. in Morgan City, and a native of St. Martinville. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Body at McCleary Funeral Home in Morgan City. Religious services at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial at Morgan City Cemetery. Survived by her husband, Thomas F. Pearce of Morgan City; four sons, John G., Harold, Tom Kelley and John Pearce, all of Morgan City; four daughters, Mrs. Elder Dixon of Franklin, Mrs. Walter Chauvin of Centerville and Mrs. Earl Pearce and Mrs. Edwin Ourso, both of Morgan City; 54 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Mendoza of Chalmet; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Curry and Mrs. Walsh Stampley, both of Plaquemine, La., and Mrs. Henry Sanders of Morgan City; four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Lorena Pearce
